Hello, a little welcome from me - my name is Camilla.
I’m someone who has always been drawn to a sense of cosiness and to finding beauty in the everyday. With Danish heritage on my Mum’s side, I’ve long been inspired by Scandinavian ways of living, especially the feeling of hygge. Huglig was created as a space to share and celebrate that.
More recently, my story has taken me to Austria, where I’ve been living in the mountains working as a ski instructor. Being surrounded by nature here has deepened my appreciation for seasonality, simplicity, and the quiet beauty of natural surroundings, something that continues to shape my creative work.
At the heart of what I do is a love for creating. Whether it’s thoughtfully arranging flowers, styling a table for a cosy gathering, or bringing small, sensory details together, I’m drawn to work that feels intentional and atmospheric. Floristry has become a natural extension of this, allowing me to work with texture, colour, and form in a way that brings warmth and feeling into a space.
Alongside this, my background in fashion design, where I specialised in bridal design, continues to influence my aesthetic. Looking ahead, I hope to bring these two worlds together through bespoke bridal and floristry design, creating pieces that feel deeply personal and considered.
Huglig is a reflection of this journey, a space centred around floristry, hosting, and creating meaningful atmospheres. Where love meets hygge. As I continue to grow this path, I’m looking to further develop my experience within a creative floristry environment, where I can contribute, learn, and refine my craft. Ultimately, I hope to build towards creating bespoke experiences in floristry and bridal that feel intimate, considered, and full of warmth. xxx
