Magical, autumnal, hygge hosting.

I transformed my old studio barn into a romantic, hygge-inspired space, ready to host a cosy autumnal dinner party. The room was filled with gorgeous shades of dahlias hand picked from Somerset Dahlias (a hygge experience in itself), flickering candles, twinkling fairy lights, and branches collected from the orchard, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Every corner felt intentional, from the textures to the soft glow that danced across the walls, inviting guests to pause, breathe, and enjoy the simple pleasures of the season.

Now, the barn has become a space that celebrates beauty and connection, where joyful moments can unfold around a table brimming with seasonal goodness. The autumnal palette of rich colours and layered textures, paired with friends and family, makes every gathering feel intimate and memorable a perfect embodiment of hygge, where warmth and togetherness are at the heart of every meal.
